Born on a Thursday evening in January 1995, in the San Francisco Bay Area. Shelby is a sassy girl who can fool you with her quiet, pleasant demeanor. What many people close to her don't know is that three days after her fourth birthday, Shelby was diagnosed with an agressive form of cancer -- Burkitts Lymphoma. It encapsulated both her kidneys and was growing rapidly. Fortunately, she was diagnosed when the cancer was in its early stage and was treated the very next day it was discovered. Shelby spent 5 months undergoing intense chemotherapy. It was a treatment protocol that would have worn down most adults, but she endured it and came back stronger. Shelby has a special appreciation for life -- that it is very precious and can be taken from any of us at any moment. It is that appreciation that drives her to do her best in everything she focuses on. Since being declared cancer free, Shelby has spent much of her free time volunteering and fundraising for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Greater Bay Area Make-a-Wish Foundation.

I love my little sister and my dog, S'more. When I'm not busy with school work, I enjoy choreographing routines for my school's Dance and Drill Team. I'm very health conscious and always start the day with at least 40 minutes of cardio exercise.
But my all time greatest love is singing. I'm always trying to improve my technique and I always jump at any opportunity to perform in public.
Everyday brings me closer to achieving my goal of working in the entertainment industry. Every audition and every performance is a learning experience and I'm constantly working to improve my craft.
